Red wines, in general, have surged in popularity in the past several years and more and more people are drinking red wine than ever before. But what’s beyond Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot Noir? This 2-week course looks at red wine from a global perspective. Learn about different styles of key grape varieties, important areas of production and current trends in red wine. No passport required.

This class meets 2 consecutive Tuesday evenings, February 9 and 16, from 7-8:15 p.m. Reservations are required and the class is limited to 14 participants. In accordance with Connecticut liquor control statutes, there is no charge for the class.
