Course meets 2 consecutive Tuesdays: 6/8 and 6/15

Of course there is far more to white wine than Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio and this 2-week course takes a global perspective. Go beyond these two grape varieties and learn the differences between New World and Old World expressions of key grape varieties. What are the important characteristics shared by good white wines? Can white wine be made from red grapes? What are the up-and-coming white wines?

This class meets 2 consecutive Tuesday evenings, June 8 and 15, from 7-8:15 p.m. Reservations are required and the class is limited to 14 participants. In accordance with Connecticut liquor control statutes, there is no charge for the class.

Please note:  Because of limited class size, these classes have waiting lists. Please don't be a no-show. If you are confirmed for a class and find that you cannot attend, be courteous to a person on the waiting list and notify us as soon as possible, at least 48 hours prior to the class. We want to accomodate as many people as possible.
