On Wednesday, February 24, we welcomed Armando Castagnedi, winemaker for Tenuta Sant' Antonio to West Side Wines for a master class on the great red wines of the Veneto of northeastern Italy- Valpolicella and Amarone.
Producing wines under their own label since 1995 after many years of selling grapes to the cooperative, Tenuta Sant' Antonio has received recognition and awards from many Italian and European wine publications including Gambero Rosso (a Tre Bicchieri award), Italy's top wine publication. Armando, along with his three brothers own and actively run the family vineyards and winery.
